Standard Tuning (pitch raise less than 5 cents): $100
A Standard Tuning is recommended at least every 6 months. This service will restore unison and octave intonation, clean temperament inaccuracies, and includes very minor repairs as needed.
Pitch Raise Tuning (more than 5 cents): $140
A Pitch Raise Tuning is recommended for pianos that have not been tuned for an extended period of time. This service will bring the temperament and pitch center of the piano back to 440hz. Like the Standard Tuning, a Pitch Raise Tuning includes tuning unisons, octaves, temperament adjustments, and very minor repairs.
Treble String Replacement: $50/ea
Broken strings should be replaced promptly to avoid damage to corresponding action parts. Tuning services begin with an inspection that will identify any broken strings. Strings can be replaced before tuning or, if necessary, as a separate service. This service includes measuring, installing, and tuning the replacement string.
Bass String Replacement: $75/ea
Bass strings often need to be special ordered, as the technician does not always have the necessary length and thickness on hand. This service includes measuring, ordering, installing, and tuning the replacement string.
Out-of-Monroe, Wayne, and Ontario County Travel Fee: $1/mile over 45 miles.
